Types Name

  • The type name must be in English.
    • If the product is not available in another country or the name cannot be translated, then it is acceptable for the name to be in the original language.
  • In the case of a type that has been revised (multiple versions):
    • For older versions, indicate their version number or, if verified, the period of commercialization. (e.g: Crinklz v1)
    • For the most recent version:
      • If it is still being sold (discontinued = false), do not indicate a version or year. (e.g: Crinklz)
      • If it is no longer being sold, the rules for older versions apply.
    • Versions should be indicated after the name without being in parentheses or preceded by a dash.

Brand Name

  • The brand name must be in English.
    • If the brand is not available in another country or the name cannot be translated, then it is acceptable for the name to be in the original language.
  • A logo image is strongly recommended.
    • The logo should be the only element in the image without any other surrounding elements.
    • It is recommended to provide an image compatible with both a light and dark background.
    • A logo with a transparent background is a plus.
  • If the brand exists, indicate it directly in the "brand" field of the type.
  • If the brand does not exist, provide the official website of the brand.
    • If no website exists, indicate at least the site of a reseller (e.g., a link to the list of products of the brand).
  • If it is a « store brand »:
    • Either indicate the name of the store if it is clearly identifiable as coming from that store (e.g., indicated on the package)
    • or the specific brand name
  • The type can be referenced as "Other" brand if:
    • The product is generic or offered under multiple brands ("white label").
    • The product is the only product of the brand and there is no interest in creating a specific brand.
    • No information can be found about the brand.
  • Be careful, some store don't indicate the brand of some product - Please verify with the search feature if the type does not exists on another brand.

Images

  • Images should not show human bodies. Types should not be worn. Images of types worn on plastic mannequins are not accepted.
  • Prefer using the package image. The exception is if the package does not easily distinguish the model, then using an image of the folded or "assembled" diaper (following the other rules) is advised.
  • Images should be of the best quality possible.
  • Image background will automatically removed. Image will automatically crop to optimize the image size.

Size Nomenclature

  • If there are multiple Xs (e.g., XXS or XXXL), then factorize the Xs by indicating the number of Xs before (2XS, 3XL).
  • Sizes should be sorted in ascending order of product size.
  • Always use the size in English.
  • Use age instead of weight (for youth diaper).
  • If the size refers to an age range instead of weight
  • The range boundaries should be separated by dashes (e.g., 8y-15y).

Variants

  • Variants allow distinguishing the same model sold with different designs.
    • Examples of variants:
      • Gender: Men / Women, Boy / Girl
      • Color: Blue / White / Pink, etc.
  • The product must be identical in every way to be declared as a variant.
  • Different absorption levels do not constitute variants. These must be distinct types.
  • If the type consists of multiple designs in the same package, these are not considered variants. (e.g., PeekABU, Goodnites, Drynites)
  • If there are design differences based on sizes, they are not considered as variant (Variants are not created for just one size) (e.g. Goodnites).
