Cloud Sync

Do I need Cloud Sync?

No. DiapStash works perfectly fine without Cloud Sync. All your data is stored locally on your device.

Cloud Sync is an optional feature that allows you to:

Access your data on multiple devices (Android, iOS, or web)
Share your history and/or stock with friends (see Sharing)
Use as a backup if you're worried about losing your data

If you only want to back up your data without using Cloud Sync, you can create a local backup file from Settings > Manage data. See Manage data for more information.

About

Cloud Sync transfers the data from your application to our server, allowing you to link other devices, whether they are running Android or iOS.

Your Cloud Sync link is personal and should never be shared with anyone. Sharing your Cloud Sync link would give others full access to your data and merge their data with yours. To share your history or stock with friends, use the dedicated Sharing features instead.

Cloud Sync is required to use the stock and history sharing features.

Privacy

The app's data is transmitted to our server without sharing any personal information. We use a randomly generated unique identifier to recognize you. You do not need to create an account.
