Catalog
The DiapStash catalog is powered by user proposals. You can help contribute to the catalog either by proposing new types or by participating in the verification of user proposals.
Propose a new type
You have two options to propose a new type: either directly in the app or via the web catalog.
Application
Once a custom type is created, you can submit it to be added to the official catalog in due time.
Before submitting, please check that size information, variants, and the image are correctly filled in.
Variants should not be used to indicate absorption differences (e.g., super/plus/maxi), or to indicate pattern differences within the same package.
To do this, from the catalog page in the app, open the custom type you want to submit, then click the "Propose addition to official catalog" button at the bottom of the page.
If your custom type is based on a brand not present in the catalog, you can specify the brand with a link that will help us verify it.
You will also need to provide a product page link, which will make it easier for us to verify the data.
Once all information is filled in and checked, you can submit the proposal.
When the proposal is approved, you will receive a notification inviting you to merge your custom type with the newly created official type. If the proposal is rejected, you will receive a notification indicating the reason for rejection.
Web catalog
You can also propose a new type directly from the web catalog. This allows you to fill in all the information, including those not available in the app.
To do this, go to the web catalog, sign in via the "Sign in" button in the top-right menu.
Once signed in, on the types page, click the button: in the left menu.
Fill in all the information by following the different steps.

In the "Submit" step, provide in the information field all the links used to facilitate data verification. You can also indicate the brand in the information field if it does not yet exist in the catalog.
Once all information is filled in and checked, you can submit the proposal.
Propose a type modification
You can contribute to improving the catalog by proposing modifications. You must first be signed in to the web catalog.
To propose a modification to a type, go to the page of the type in question, then click the button: at the top right.
On the edit page, you can modify the type information, similar to proposing a new type.
In the "Submit" step, provide in the information field all the links used to facilitate data verification. You can also indicate the brand in the information field if it does not yet exist in the catalog.
Once all information is filled in and checked, you can submit the proposal.
Participate in proposal verification
You can participate in the verification of proposals for new types or modifications. You must first be signed in to the web catalog.
On the proposals page, you will find all pending proposals in the left menu, which allows you to select the proposals to process.
On each proposal you will find:
- The origin: APP for proposals coming from the app, CATALOG for proposals made from the web catalog.
- The proposal type: Create type, Edit type, Add package.
When verifying proposals, you must ensure that the information is correct and complies with the rules.
Proposal handling varies depending on the proposal type.
Proposals will be reviewed a second time by an administrator before being validated.
Create type
You have 4 possible options:
- Create the type
- Merge with an existing type
- Merge with an existing type while proposing modifications
- Reject the proposal
For creation, you can correct all the proposed information and complete any missing fields. Add the links used for data verification (they will be useful for the pre-approval verification).
Merging should be used when the type already exists.
Merging with modifications is very rarely used; it can be useful when adding a new variant, a missing size, or correcting information.
Reject the proposal when it is not valid, does not comply with the rules, or when the type should not be added to the catalog (not supported by the app, DIY diaper, ...).
Edit type
You have 2 possible options:
- Modify the type
- Reject the proposal
For modification, you can correct all the proposed information and complete any missing fields. Add the links used for data verification (they will be useful for the pre-approval verification).
Reject the proposal when it is not valid or does not comply with the rules.
Add package
Adding packages allows barcode verification. You only need to complete the "Package" step by verifying that the barcode does not already exist and is valid (actually exists). To do this, you can use the following sites or search the barcode on a search engine (e.g., Google):
